The Louisiana District of the Assemblies of God is a Pentecostal fellowship with it`s main offices in Alexandria, Louisiana. It is one of 58 Districts making up the General Council of the Assemblies of God with its world wide headquarters located in Springfield. This District Council is comprised of 225 churches with approximately 586 credentialed ministers, including pastors, associates, evangelists, chaplains and missionaries.

Our mission is to impact our world with the message of God`s word, the Bible. We believe that Jesus, the Son of God, died for our sins and has also risen again with a message of hope for a hurting world. Our wonderful savior gave us a commandment before returning to heaven. He told us to preach The Gospel to every person and instructed us that the power to fulfill this mission is found in the mighty Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Our vision is to penetrate all cultures with this message. We will do everything possible to equip and train our ministers and churches to accomplish this task.
